The LF08X is a wax in compliance with the LF8 standard, an excellent wax for the basic preparation and training. It can equally be used as race wax, preferably with the Cera F powder on top. It is easy to melt and to work.
When it is used as basis for Cera F, the new FC08X powder is recommended.
The LFX waxes by SWIX are fluorinated hydrocarbon waxes with a lower percentage of fluorocarbons at low melting point. They are used as training waxes or as race waxes with Cera F as final layer, or again by themselves with race waxes at very low temperatures.
The temperature and colour scales of the LFX waxes coincide with the HFX category.
