The VR55 VIOLET SOFT is a soft purple wax without silver. To be used for not very humid snow close of the freezing point (+ 2°C – 0°C). This wax gives a good grip on aged snows from0°C to -3°C. It has been tested in the World Cup for two seasons.
VR fluoride waxes are designed for high performance competition, but they are also very popular with the athletic and entertaining skiers due to their exceptional qualities, especially when the temperature oscillates around 0°C.
These hard waxes distinguish themselves by their great flexibility of usage. Every VR wax presents two temperature ranges. The one for falling snow or newly fallen, characterized by splitting crystals having a rather high penetration capability; the other one for the aged snow, characterized by round crystals with least penetration capability.
